What we are here to fix
The scuba industry has been filled with low profit margins which has lead to a quantity over quality mindset. Because of it’s safe track record, it is often forgotten that scuba diving is a dangerous sport made safer by requiring education and learned skills. We are re-introducing a quality over quantity mindset by providing experienced dive professionals and individualistic teaching. Our style is not for the potential diver looking for the easiest and cheapest way in to the sport. We believe in bringing the best product geared towards the scuba enthusiast that is looking to build a solid foundation of competency to sustain a lifelong passion for the underwater world.

James
James’ started his scuba journey back in 2016 when he first became certified while stationed out in Okinawa, Japan. After getting out of the Army he attended Sea Experience in 2020 and became a scuba instructor. Since then he has worked as a commercial diver, a mate and captain on dive charters; and as an instructor for a dive shop and in the high end luxury yacht industry. He has a passion for teaching the recreational side of diving and loves any opportunity to dive with sharks.
Andries
Andries’ Maritime adventures started before his scuba adventures. After graduating college in his home country of South Africa he decided to take an additional 2 year course and get his captain’s license. Upon graduation he took the his first trans-Atlantic crossing headed for the Americas. Unlike most dive captains Andries started working in the industry before he became an instructor. In 2014, while working for a dive shop in the Cayman Islands, he completed his IDC and joined the ranks of dive instructors. To date Andries runs his own captain services company and is considered a subject matter expert in the operation of sailing catamaran yachts. His expansive knowledge of the of luxury yacht charters and private yacht operations is a huge contribution to Concord Divers and yet he still find time to jump in and teach every now and then!
